DFTM Show Timer Privacy Policy
Effective
This policy applies specifically to the native DFTM Show Timer macOS app provided by Dog From The Moon LLC.
Your show stays on your Mac
DFTM Show Timer works without an account or a server connection. The app does not collect or transmit your show content, personal information, device identifiers, or usage analytics to Dog From The Moon LLC or third parties. It contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Local files and recovery
Cue names, notes, durations, timelines, saved backups, and interrupted-session recovery data are stored locally in the app's sandbox. JSON import reads a file you select; export writes to a location you select. The app reads file metadata to validate those files. Backups are retained until you remove them.
File → Reveal Saved Shows opens the storage folder. Quit the app before removing its saved files. Exported copies and any backups made by macOS or another backup service are managed separately by you.
Timing and MIDI
The app uses a monotonic clock to measure elapsed time and detect timecode dropout. If you select a MIDI source, incoming MIDI Time Code is processed locally for the monitor. The app does not record or upload MIDI streams. Show timers run independently of the MIDI input.
Diagnostics and support
Local macOS logs may contain technical lifecycle, error, and MIDI connection events. The app does not put cue names or note contents in those logs and does not upload them. Apple's operating-system diagnostics and App Store services are governed by Apple's settings and policies. If you contact support, you choose what information or files to share.
Changes
This policy applies to this version of DFTM Show Timer. If the app's data practices change, the policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.
