DFTM Tracks Privacy Policy

Effective

DFTM Tracks is provided by Dog From The Moon LLC. It plays audio files and manages show projects on your Mac. This policy applies specifically to the native DFTM Tracks macOS app. The app does not collect or transmit your personal information to the developer. It has no advertising, analytics SDKs, tracking, or account registration.

Your audio and projects

Audio files, lyrics, song information, routing, and show settings are processed locally. Projects and exported audio are saved to locations you choose. The app also keeps local show recovery files, preferences, and a list of recent projects. These files may contain song names, lyrics, file locations, and the information you enter.

File access

macOS asks you to choose files or folders before the app accesses them. The app stores security-scoped bookmarks locally so it can reopen those resources later. The app does not upload your audio, projects, or lyrics.

Audio and MIDI devices

The app reads audio-device and MIDI-device information to provide routing and control. It receives MIDI control messages and can send MIDI Timecode to the destinations you enable. These messages go to the selected system MIDI destinations, which may include network MIDI destinations configured by you in macOS. The app does not record microphone audio.

Diagnostics and support

macOS may generate crash reports or diagnostic logs according to your system settings. If you choose to send a project, log, or message for support, the recipient receives what you send. Remove private content before sharing it. The app does not automatically submit support requests or diagnostic files.

Retention and deletion

You control saved projects, source audio, and exports and can delete them in Finder. File > Open Recent > Clear Menu clears the recent-project list. File > New Project replaces the current local working show after any save prompts; it does not delete your saved project or source audio. Local preferences and recovery files remain in the app's sandbox until you remove that data. Backups or cloud storage you configure may retain additional copies under their own policies.

Changes

This policy describes this version of DFTM Tracks. If its data practices change, the policy will be updated. You can read this policy offline through Help > Privacy Policy.
